Web Teks has announced that Tom Anthony has joined the organization as Vice President of Client Services. Mr. Anthony will lead the company's efforts in establishing, extending and maintaining relationships with new and current clients. Anthony plans to add a stronger focus on strategic consulting to complement Web Teks existing range of e-Business solutions. Looking back over the history of the Company it is interesting to note that Anthony was originally among the first few employees of Web Teks, leaving only to pursue an opportunity to build his own company. He is credited with designing the first portable Continuity of Operations voice, video, and data system enabling rapid world-wide deployment in his role as Task Force Commander in the Joint and Coalition environments. Morneault utilized cutting-edge technology to design and implement bandwidth augmentation solutions providing critical communications to the President of the United States, the Mayor of New Orleans, and 19 Flag officers and staffs during Hurricane Katrina relief. The report indicates that existing online shoppers with convenience needs and security concerns will influence the evolution of alternative payment methods. The Javelin report also indicates that online alternative payment methods such as PayPal and Bill Me Later - traditionally used by early adopters - will become more mainstream as others temper their use of credit cards and embrace these new online methods. Implemented correctly and with reasonable expectations, alternative payment solutions provide lower cost and a higher yield for those looking to get their feet wet with e-commerce.
