Strategic Solutions Consultant
Level: Upper Mid to Advanced

Technology Experience Preferred:
- Direct experience in Web interface or software UI development
- Software, IT, computer or telecommunications sales experience for a minimum of 5+ years
Responsibilities:
The principal responsibilities for this position encompass business development, strategy, consultant service sales, with the ultimate goal of delivering custom Web-based applications that solve business challenges to a new generation of clients. Selected candidate is expected to achieve his or her revenue sales target.
- Generate prospects for our enhanced product lines. Solicit leads from personal contacts, inside sales teams, networking professionals, customer referrals, dealers and referral agents.
- Schedule appointments, meet with customers and prospects to conduct thorough analysis, schedule product demonstrations or offer other Web Teks services.
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers and prospects to create interest, answer questions, uncover and overcome objections and most importantly move the process forward.
- Develop and present value-based proposals to the customers, as needed. Gather all pertinent background information, configure the enhanced products and/or services, and present the solutions and/or respond to the customers' RFPs.
- Follow up as needed to move sales forward, including: answering questions, responding to competitive offers, reconfiguring solutions, close the sales and submit the orders.
- Report work activity as directed by supervisor. Maintain sales process status and current information for prospects and existing customers in the Sales Force Automation system.
- Lead sales meetings and sales training as directed. Participate in trade shows, industry events and customer entertainment activities. Maintain relations with industry contacts and lead sources.
Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of the project life cycle.
- Current SharePoint Object Model development experience.
- Current SharePoint Custom Web Part development experience.
- Current C# programming experience.
- Current ASP.Net programming experience.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate orally, in writing, and interpersonally to various customers/audiences.
- Ability to convey technical information to non technical individuals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical and non technical issues (e.g. equipment, systems, networks, computer operations, cover issues etc).
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to clearly and effectively set goals, and then attain them, is a must. A proven record of setting objectives, creating work plans, establishing the rewards, working diligently, self-measuring performance, adjusting as necessary and then accomplishing the goals, is a necessity for this position.
- Must be able to work independently, identifying problems, gather data, accurately weigh the facts, consult others as necessary, make decisions and effectively implement the solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of e-Business, Web development business systems and/or information systems, and the ability to educate and motivate others.
- Must demonstrate a record of accomplishment of success in business-to-business sales in the technology field.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, coupled with strong presentation skills. The ability to convince and persuade others should be evident in personal and telephone interviews.
- Computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, e-mail, Internet).
- Must maintain quota levels.

BA/BS
