Business IT Analyst
The principal responsibilities for this position include project definition, facilitating feature/function prioritization, defining requirements with internal and external customers, and assuring development efforts are aligned with client expectations. The Analyst must understand client needs, but also anticipate and understand unspoken development requirements and strategic opportunities.
Specific Duties:
- Execute the client's business and technical needs in a document intended for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Peer review, edit and format technical documentation created by others
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure software deliverables meet documented requirements
- Assist in testing software deliverables
- Creation of user manuals and client training
Desired Experience:
- Direct experience in web interface or software UI development
- Understanding of the technical issues of user interface, usability, algorithms and scalability
- Business analysis, requirements analysis, software design, and software testing
- Software analysis or programming experience very highly valued
Background Required:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the software industry
- Technical background in web or desktop application development
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, especially requirements definition
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Documentation experience a must
