Dyanne Walker – Founder & CEO
Dyanne is the founder of Web Teks, Inc., the fastest growing and most respected eBusiness Solutions Firm in Virginia. After sustained success in corporate America, she took her design and management talents to the World Wide Web. While other technology companies have struggled, Dyanne’s compelling ability to create and provide valuable business solutions has allowed Web Teks to enjoy significant and sustained growth regardless of economic conditions.
In addition to handling all aspects of administration and operation of the company, she currently serves on the Executive Committee for Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads and on the Fine Arts Commission in Chesapeake, VA. She served as two time President of the National Association of Women Business Owners Southeastern Virginia Chapter and served on several local and national committees. She has been involved with or supported several other non-profits including the Virginia Beach Fund, ForKids, Adopt-A-Student, Salvation Army, Girl Scouts and YWCA. Web Teks supports these non-profits as well as the Neptune Festival and the Oceana Air Show.
Dyanne has been presented with several awards including 2002 Rookie of the Year and 2003 Presidents Award, both from NAWBO SEVA; 2003 Hampton Roads Top Forty Under 40; 2005 Women in Business Achievement Award, 2005 YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Science and Technology and 2009 HRTC Center for Innovative Technology Entrepreneur Award. Web Teks was presented with the 2004 Chesapeake Business of the Year Award.
Tom Walker – President
As a career Naval Officer, Tom managed the extensive programming and web enablement of computer systems to support both U.S. and international military Special Forces. This experience has allowed him to lead a tightly-woven team of high achieving professionals who have helped Web Teks grow to the successful company it is today. Under his leadership, the Web Teks client list has grown to over five hundred satisfied customers spanning four continents, eleven countries and all across the U.S.A.
Mr. Walker is passionate about transforming the way business is done. With a unique combination of strategic thinking, creativity and technological expertise, he spearheads the design and development of powerful and meaningful custom business solutions. He served as the President of The Virginia Beach Forum and has been a member of the Small Business Administration’s Business Advisory Council, the Virginia Marine Science Museum Aquarium Connection, the Virginia Beach Fund and is a frequent speaker at various corporate and organizational events. Tom was also presented the “Hampton Roads Top Forty Under 40” award in 2003.
Adam Coppin – Director of Project Management and Microsoft Services
An Englishman born and bred, Adam has been working in the Internet technology field since 1995. Adam worked as an Online Marketing and Product Development Manager for Cox Auto Trader for 4 years where he both directed all online marketing efforts for AutoExtra.com (a division of Cox Auto Trader) and led the development teams to creating the most successful launch in Auto Trader history.
Adam has managed marketing and development budgets in excess of $170 Million with companies such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and more. Following on the footsteps of his success at AutoExtra.com, Adam was recruited by the Cox Auto Trader Project Management Office to join their team of Project Managers. Here, Adam was responsible for the management and delivery of many large to medium scale projects with an extremely high success rate delivering on time and under budget.
Adam joined the Web Teks team and eBusiness group as Senior Web Strategist in 2008 with a rapid promotion to Senior Project Manager shortly thereafter.
Jessica Flores – Creative Director
Jessica brings over 9 years of creative development and Graphic Design experience to Web Teks. Prior to joining the team, Jessica worked as both Senior Designer and Account Manager at a highly sought after Advertising & Development Agency based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jessica's experience includes managing and designing for large international corporate clients as well as boutique agency houses.
Prior to her work in advertising, Jessica worked as lead graphic designer and marketing coordinator at a multi-national Architecture Firm. Her work in Architecture motivated her to bring the strong structural elements that the field of Architecture is based on into her process of designing for the web.
Jessica is highly energetic about the creative process and believes good web design must embrace both form and function to be a successful informative venue for users.
As Creative Director at Web Teks, she brings exceptional design and unquestionable usability to her clients and their projects.
Lisa Litwiller - Director of Business Development
Lisa Litwillers' experience encompasses a variety of positions in marketing communications, media relations, and creative services in multiple disciplines.
Prior to joining Web Teks, Lisa served the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance as Marketing and Public Relations Associate, where she managed the Alliance's advertising and public relations activities and budgets. In this position Lisa demonstrated her collaboration skills in coordinating the messaging of Hampton Roads across 15 different municipalities and over 150 corporate investors to a worldwide audience. In 2009 she was promoted to Marketing Communications Director where she introduced technology based solutions to improve strategic communications, global recognition, and competitiveness.
As Director of Business Development at Web Teks, Lisa’s primary focus is to lead and oversee the development and growth of new business strategies and maintain effective key partner relationships.
Kristy McCracken – Director of Client Services
With a diverse background in marketing and advertising, Kristy McCracken has brought a fresh prospective to Web Teks and adds yet another layer of expertise to our team.
Joining Web Teks in 2010 after three years in account management at an advertising agency, Kristy understands the importance on integrating the web into the bigger picture. Her drive to do what’s best for the client and attention to detail provides a reliable ally when navigating through the complicated world of technology.
Marty Walser - Director of eBusiness & Open Source Development
Marty has been involved with development of enterprise business applications on the web since 1996. Working for the Information Systems division at UPS, Marty worked on the development team that brought UPS business services to the web, including package tracking, online shipping rates, service counter location maps, and pick up scheduling.
In 1998, Marty became a Technical Lead for the Interactive Media division at Cox Enterprises, launching the GoHamptonRoads.com web portal locally, and developing applications for 30 other portals nationwide. In 2003, he was hired by Trader Publishing as a Senior Developer on theAdNet project, an extranet application that created dynamic print and web advertisements for the real estate industry.
Joining Web Teks in 2006, Marty rapidly rose to the position of Director of eBusiness and Open Source Development – consulting on strategy, vision, and technical requirements for client projects. In 2008, Marty was awarded a Lifetime Membership by the Virginia Jaycees having served the Board of Directors for the Oceanfront chapter over the prior 8 years.
Sarah Vernon – Communications Manager
With over ten years experience in the field of technology, Sarah Vernon brings a wealth of knowledge to the Web Teks team.
Prior to joining Web Teks, Sarah worked as a Regional Training Manager for CompUSA where she was responsible for the oversight of multiple training centers. Since joining the Web Teks team in 2003, Sarah has held multiple positions within the organization. Sarah currently holds the title of Communications Manager where she is responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of all client projects and all Web Teks hosting services.
Carrie Whitlow - Production Manager
Carrie Whitlow joined Web Teks in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant after transitioning from the financial planning industry. She was quickly promoted to Office Manager where she was responsible for managing the daily operations at Web Teks while assisting with client account management. Showing a passion for the industry, an eye for detail and a determination to see projects to the end, Carrie has now taken on the role as Production Manager where she is responsible for managing the work flow of Web Teks team of highly skilled developers.
