Giving Back

Investing in our community has allowed us to give back to those of who have helped support our business throughout the years. Headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia we enjoy supporting local organizations that help others in need and strengthen our community. Web Teks and its employees proudly support the following organizations: 

	Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.  Junior Achievement (JA) collaborates with volunteers who selflessly donate their time to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
	March of Dimes is a United States health charity whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
	Neptune Festival provides entertainment that enhances the quality of life for Virginia Beach residents and visitors.  They produce and promote locally and nationally recognized events and activities that contribute to the charitable, educational, cultural, athletic, tourist and economic development of the area.
	The main objective of the NAS Oceana Air Show is to communicate the mission of the Navy and the master jet base, providing visitors an opportunity to see what their tax dollars have purchased, the secondary mission is to foster a good relationship with the base’s civilian neighbors.
	United Way brings people together from all over the community-government, business, faith groups, other non-profits and citizens-to identify and tackle our most serious problems.
	Adopt-A-Student is a community program with the goal of making sure that no student reports to school without their supplies and a backpack.  Their efforts are focused on the neediest of students, concentrating on the homeless.
	ForKids has developed a unique Continuum of Services to meet the wide spectrum of need found in homeless families.  Throughout their programs, the focus is on developing self-sufficiency through case management, counseling, life skills education, children’s services, mental and physical health care services, transportation, and childcare.  In addition, their extensive Children’s Services program targets the intellectual, emotional, social, and developmental well-being of children, with the goal of preparing them for success in school and independent futures.
	Fabulous wines from around the world and produced by Virginia Wineries will be available for tasting at the Chesapeake Wine Festival as well as foods from the regions finest restaurants.  Entertainment will be provided by Lewis McGehee. This event, sponsored by Chesapeake Rotary, will benefit the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Center of Chesapeake Regional Hospital and the Community Charities of the Chesapeake Rotary Club.
	Stranding Response Program is part of the Aquarium's Research & Conservation Division.  A group of trained staff and volunteers leads the program, our Stranding Team, who responds to stranded marine mammals and sea turtles along the Virginia coastline and beyond.  They work at the Aquarium's Stranding Center in Virginia Beach to rescue and rehabilitate live animals, collect data from dead specimens and support research on stranded marine animals found in Virginia.  Most important, through their passion and commitment they serve as environmental ambassadors, educating the public about these magnificent animals and their conservation needs.
	The VA Jaycees provide opportunities to improve on one's business skills, provides networking opportunities, performs community service, and offers many fun social opportunities.
	The mission of Tidewater Arts Outreach is to uplift the human spirit by bringing live, quality music and arts experiences to people in Hampton Roads who are in homes, hospitals, shelters, facilities and dependent care programs or otherwise are isolated from society.
	Operation Homefront (OH) provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. The target population is American military personnel and/or their families who have unmet needs due to financial hardship, death, injury, or physical or mental detriment as a result of service in Iraq or Afghanistan.
	LifeNet Health helps to save lives and restore health for thousands of patients each year. They are the world’s most trusted provider of transplant solutions, from organ procurement to new innovations in bio-implant technologies and cellular therapies—a leader in the field of regenerative medicine, while always honoring the donors and healthcare professionals that allow the healing process.
	Wings over America Scholarship Foundation was established in 1987.  Their mission is to provide college scholarships to dependent children and spouses of all US Navy - officer and enlisted - active duty, retired or deceased who served within Naval Air Forces.
	The YMCA’s objective is putting Christian principles into practice, achieved by developing "a healthy spirit, mind and body."
	The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women's organization in the world.  YWCA’s mission is to eliminate racism and empower women.  We provide safe places for women and girls, build strong women leaders, and advocate for women's rights and civil rights in Congress.
The Tidewater Officers' Spouses' Association (TOSA)	The Tidewater Officers’ Spouses’ Association (TOSA) is a fantastic opportunity for friendship and outreach to our military community.  Our mission is to support local charities and offer social interaction within all military communities to our members: active duty & retired commissioned officers’ spouses, warrant officers’ spouses, and civilian employee spouses with comparable classification who live in the Hampton Roads area.
